🔒 How ClapAssist's Screen Invisibility Works

ClapAssist doesn't use web hacks. On macOS, it registers with the Window Server using kCGWindowSharingNone. On Windows, it sets SetWindowDisplayAffinity(WDA_EXCLUDEFROMCAPTURE).

The operating system kernel itself physically removes ClapAssist's overlay from any screen capture API — including Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, Slack, and Loom.
