Walmart's interview questions for seven jobs, 56 in all, each with what it checks and a sample spoken answer, and what Walmart itself says about how it hires. Every line about the process below comes from Walmart's own careers pages, linked next to it and checked on 3 October 2026. Nothing here comes from review sites, and there are no pass rates or salaries.
Each set below was written for one Walmart job, from the work that job does. Open a set for every question with what the interviewer is checking, an answer frame, a sample spoken answer and the red flag to avoid.

Walmart's careers pages name four steps: apply, assessment, review and interview. You fill out an online application; a resume is optional, but you must give your job history. Some positions require assessments before you can be considered. Walmart tries to reply within a week, and tells you if you are not picked for an interview. You track progress in the careers portal, with statuses like under review and interview scheduled. Ask your recruiter which of them apply to your job.
Walmart asks you to highlight experience that ties directly to the role.
Read up on Walmart's values, mission and latest investments before the interview. Practice your answers with the STAR method: situation, task, action, result. You cannot change an application after you submit it, so check it first. Walmart offers interactive job simulations so you can preview a role. Then say the answers to the questions below out loud, once each, before the day.
No one outside Walmart can promise that. ClapAssist wrote these 56 questions for Walmart's seven jobs from the work each job involves; they are practice, not a leak. When candidates send us the questions they were really asked and we approve them, they appear in the box on this page, with a count once three or more people name the same one.
Walmart's own pages, read on 3 October 2026. Companies change their process; if a page above says something different from what you are told, trust your recruiter. Seen something out of date? Write to support@clapassist.com.
