Practice free with the interview simulator and mock interview, then get suggested answers from your own resume in the live interview: BPO rounds, corporate HR interviews and technical rounds.
"Interview AI" means two different things. One is AI that helps you practice: it asks you questions and tells you how your answers sounded. The other is AI that helps during the real interview: it hears the question and shows you a suggested answer from your own resume. ClapAssist does both, and the practice part is free.
ClapAssist is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. It listens to the call on your own computer, never joins the meeting and needs no browser extension. It understands English, Tagalog and many other languages, and the "Answer in" setting picks the language of the suggestions, so a Taglish question from the recruiter still gets a clean English answer on your screen.
After the call, a written recap and the transcript are saved to your account, encrypted, so you can review what you said before the final interview. You can switch transcript saving off in Settings and delete them any time. Call audio and screenshots are never stored.
The free interview simulator runs a complete practice interview: eight questions for the job you type in, a clock for each answer, and one report at the end. It is the closest thing to sitting the initial interview at a BPO site or the HR round at a bank, without the nerves of the real one.
Use it the week before: one run, fix the two weakest answers, then a second run.
The free AI mock interview reads questions for your job aloud, you answer out loud, and the AI asks follow-up questions the way a real interviewer would. Afterward you see your pace, filler words, long pauses, how each answer was built, and a stronger version. It reads its questions in English, which makes it good practice for an interview in English, whether that is a voice account or a corporate role.
To rehearse with the app itself, ask a friend to play the recruiter on a Google Meet call on your laptop. The 10 free minutes are enough.
Interview Coder is a desktop tool built first for coding rounds. Our Interview Coder alternative page, from its own pages read on 17 October 2026, notes that its free download comes without the AI ("subscribe to unlock AI features").
A technical round for a developer, QA or data role is usually a mix of a coding exercise, system design or SQL, and "tell me about a project" talk. ClapAssist has modes for coding (runnable code in the language on your screen, with an explanation), system design, technical questions and SQL, and it answers the talk part from your resume too.
ClapAssist hears whatever plays through your computer's speakers or headset, so it works with any video interview: Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Many BPOs now run the initial interview online, and many corporate final interviews happen on Teams.
Video interview at home: sit where the Wi-Fi is strongest with mobile data as a backup, tell the household the time of the call, and use a headset. More in the video interview checklist and video interview tips.
Recruiters often call first to check your English and your schedule. If that call rings only on your mobile phone, ClapAssist cannot hear it. It helps when the call runs on your laptop, for example a Teams, Zoom or Viber desktop call. For a mobile-only call, use the app and the simulator to prepare, then keep your notes next to you. Our phone interview tips cover the rest.
Some multinationals and shared services centers in the Philippines send a HireVue link: you record answers to questions on screen, with no person on the other side. Our HireVue interview AI guide (HireVue's pages read on 22 October 2026) explains that employers can ask you to agree to answer in your own words, and can see if you switch tabs or windows.
So use AI to prepare, then record the real answers yourself. Start with HireVue interview questions.
These four come up most when Filipino applicants look for interview AI. The full details, with dates and prices, are on each comparison page.

For practice, start with free tools. The ClapAssist interview simulator runs eight timed questions with a report, and the AI mock interview asks follow-ups and checks your pace and filler words. Neither needs an account.
If the interview runs on your laptop through Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, ClapAssist shows a suggested answer for each question. Check the rules first: some accounts and English assessments do not allow any help.
The app understands English, Tagalog and many other languages. Set "Answer in" to English and the suggestions stay in English even when the recruiter mixes languages in small talk.
Not in a screen share. The window is left out of shares and recordings on every plan, the free one included, and the app never joins the call. Try the free screen share test first.
No. If the call is only on your mobile phone, the app cannot hear it. It works when the call runs on your computer.
No. There are 10 free minutes, then Practice, Sprint and Job Hunt, each paid once in US dollars. Nothing renews. Prices are on the pricing page.
