The LockedIn AI promo code and discounts its own site shows, how to tell a real coupon code from a dead one, the full cost after the first month, and cheaper options. Every price read on the vendor's own page, with the date.
The only LockedIn AI promo code you can trust is the one LockedIn shows on its own site. On 22 October 2026, its pricing page had a banner at the top with the code LOCKIN50 and the words "50% off forever, limited time only", and every plan already showed half the standard price (General: $54.99 a month instead of $109.98). Its help pages add a 10% discount for students, veterans, first responders and recently laid-off people, which support applies before you pay.
Codes on coupon sites are a different story. We could not find any LockedIn page that backs them, and its help pages say only one discount applies to a purchase. So a second code will not stack on top of the sale price.
This post shows what LockedIn offers today, how to check any coupon code in two minutes, what you really pay after the first month, and cheaper options with each price read from the vendor's own page. ClapAssist, which publishes this blog, makes a competing AI interview assistant. It appears in one short section near the end.
Key takeaways
On this page
We read LockedIn's pricing page with the browser set to the United States, clicked every tab, and read its "Special Discount" page and its help page on plans, credits and promo codes. This is everything we found.
| Discount | What LockedIn's page says | How you get it | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Site-wide sale | A banner at the top of every page: "Lock in 50% off forever, limited time only", with a code next to it | Shown on the pricing page itself; the plan prices already show the cut | "Limited time". We could not see checkout, so we could not confirm how long the sale price lasts on renewals |
| Longer plan | The 3-month General plan is $39.99 a month equivalent, "Save 64%" against the standard month-to-month price | Pick "3 Months" instead of "Monthly" | Billed every 3 months in one payment |
| Category discount | 10% off for students, military veterans, first responders and recently laid-off people | Contact support with proof; the Special Discount page says "Sign in to Get Discount Code" | One invoice only, not every renewal. Must be applied before you buy |
| Referral credits | "A successful referral credits 50 credits to each side" | The Refer button next to Upgrade in the app | Once per referred person, when they qualify. One credit is two minutes of help |
| Free plan | "unlimited 5-minute sessions, up to 60 free minutes a day, with a 1-minute pause between sessions" | Sign up, no payment | Each free session ends after 5 minutes |
Two rules from its help page matter most if you hold a code:
Student and fresher tip: the 10% has to be on the first purchase. If you are a student preparing for campus placements or a first job, email support with your student ID before you click Subscribe, not after.
Discount pages go stale fast. Here is the same plan, General monthly, on two days, both read with the browser set to the US:
| Read on | Banner | General, monthly | Wording under the price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 17 October 2026 | "LIMITED TIME OFFER 60% off across all plans" | $43.99 | First payment only, then the regular price, $109.98 a month |
| 22 October 2026 | "50% off forever, limited time only", with a code | $54.99 | "billed every month. Save 50% compared with the standard monthly price of $109.98" |
In five days the first payment went up by $11.00, and the wording moved from "first payment only" to "forever". Any coupon list that still says "60% off" is describing an offer the site no longer shows. Any list that lands you on a price is only as good as the day it was written, and that includes this post. Check the pricing page on the day you pay.
Search "lockedin ai coupon code" and most results are coupon sites. Knowing how they work helps you judge them. This is a general description of the business, not a claim about any one site.
Use this before you type a code or hand over a card. It works for any AI interview tool.
Quick test for any code: sale price on the vendor's page ÷ standard price = the discount you already have. If a code does not beat that at checkout, it is worth nothing to you.
The price you see first is not always the price you pay over a job search. Here is the arithmetic for the most common LockedIn plans, using the US prices on its pricing page on 22 October 2026. LockedIn plans "auto-renew" until you cancel, per its help pages.
| How you pay | Sum | Total for 3 months |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly, if the sale price stays every month, as today's wording says | $54.99 × 3 | $164.97 |
| Monthly, if renewals go back to the standard price (how the 17 Oct offer worked) | $54.99 + $109.98 + $109.98 | $274.95 |
| Monthly, standard price, no offer | $109.98 × 3 | $329.94 |
| One 3-month plan | $39.99 × 3, in one payment | $119.97 |
The gap between the first two rows is $109.98. That is why the renewal line at checkout matters more than any code. If you cannot see it, ask support in writing before you pay.
| Plan | Shown price | Standard price | What it works out to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Professional, monthly | $119.99 a month | $239.98 | Adds Stealth Mode and LockedIn Duo (a remote human helper) |
| Professional, 3 months | $79.99 a month equivalent | $239.98 month to month | $239.97 per 3 months |
| Credits, monthly | $69.99 a month | $139.98 | 400 Copilot minutes, about $10.50 per hour of help if you use them all |
| Credits, 3 months | $49.99 a month equivalent | $139.98 month to month | $149.97 for 20 hours, about $7.50 per hour |
| Lifetime Pro | $999.50 once | $1999.00 | "a one-time payment, not a subscription" |
The per-hour figures are our arithmetic: price ÷ minutes × 60. Credits that you unlock "never expire", per LockedIn, so a credit plan suits someone with a few interviews spread out. Unlimited plans suit someone with many rounds in a short window. Every paid session ends after 120 minutes (60 for a mock), per its help pages; starting a new one resets the clock.
What a 10% student discount is worth: on a $54.99 month it is about $5.50, once. It is real money for a student, but it matters less than choosing the right plan length or cancelling on time.

If the goal is to spend less, a different plan shape can save more than any coupon. These prices were read on each vendor's own pricing page on 22 October 2026 with the browser set to the US. Features differ, so check that a tool does what you need before you pay.
| Tool | Lowest paid option | Other options | Free option | Billing |

| OphyAI | Interview Pass, $9.99 for one Copilot session of up to 2 hours | 3 passes $19.99; Pro $29 a month (300 credits, about 20 sessions) | One first Copilot session capped at 15 minutes | Passes are one-time and "non-refundable"; plans are monthly or annual |
| Beyz AI | $24.99 a month, billed every 6 months ($149.94 up front) | $32.99 a month billed quarterly; $49.99 month to month | "Start For Free" | Subscription |
| Sensei AI | $24 a month, billed annually ($288 up front) | $89 month to month | 15-minute Copilot sessions | Subscription |
| ClapAssist (ours) | Practice, $14.99 for 120 minutes | Sprint $39.99 for 14 days unlimited; Job Hunt $119.99 for 30 days unlimited | 10 minutes, once, no card | Paid once, never renews |
| LockedIn AI, for comparison | General $54.99 a month (sale price) | 3 months at $39.99 a month equivalent | 5-minute sessions, up to 60 minutes a day | Auto-renews |

Where LockedIn may still be the better buy: if you want a phone app, a human helper on the call (Duo), help on coding tests, or to pick between AI models, it offers those and the cheaper tools above may not. If you interview every week for months, its 3-month plan can cost less per week than paying for short windows again and again.
Prices for 13 tools, with cost per hour and every source: AI interview tool prices compared. And if you only need practice, not live help, our free AI mock interview runs in the browser with no account.
ClapAssist is a desktop AI interview assistant for Mac and Windows. It listens to the video interview on your computer and shows an answer written from your resume. There is no public coupon code: the discount is already in the price on the pricing page, and every plan is paid once and never renews, so there is no second charge to plan around. A Money-Back Guarantee covers a plan if you ask within 7 days of paying and used it for under 30 minutes, one refund per person.
Live call audio and screenshots are never stored; your resume, notes, the written recap and the interview transcript are saved to your account (transcripts can be switched off in Settings and deleted). It has no phone app, no human helper and is not built for locked-down coding test sites. Some employers do not allow AI help in interviews or assessments, so read the invitation and ask if it is not clear.

ClapAssist is a desktop AI interview assistant for Mac and Windows. It shows an answer written from your resume during the video call and never joins the call. Every plan is paid once and never renews. Some employers do not allow AI help in interviews, so check first.
On 22 October 2026, LockedIn's own pricing page showed the code LOCKIN50 in its top banner with "50% off forever, limited time only", and the plan prices already showed half the standard price. Check the banner on the day you pay, because codes change, and do not trust codes from coupon sites. Offers change: on 17 October the banner said 60% off the first payment.
Yes. Its help pages offer 10% off for students, military veterans, first responders and recently laid-off people. You contact support with proof of eligibility. It comes off one invoice, not every renewal, and it must be applied before you buy.
No. LockedIn's help page says only one discount applies to a purchase and a coupon code does not stack on top of another discount. If you qualify for more than one, ask support which gives the lower total before paying.
Coupon sites often copy codes from old sales and rarely test them, and a "Verified" label is usually their own. LockedIn says the code shown in its app or on its site at the time of purchase is the one that applies. Check the checkout total, not the promise.
On 22 October 2026 the General plan showed $54.99 "billed every month" against a standard $109.98. If the sale price holds, 3 months cost $164.97; if renewals return to the standard price, $274.95. Check the renewal line at checkout, because plans auto-renew until you cancel in the web app.
It depends on how many interviews you have. On 22 October 2026, OphyAI sold a $9.99 pass for one session of up to 2 hours, and Beyz AI and Sensei AI were $24.99 and $24 a month on 6-month and annual billing. ClapAssist plans are paid once and never renew, from a 120-minute Practice plan.
ClapAssist hears the call from your own computer, so it works with any interview that plays through your speakers or headphones: the apps above, a call in a browser tab, a coding round shared on a video call, or a phone call taken on your laptop. No bot joins the meeting and nothing is installed on the interviewer's side. It is not built for locked-down test sites like HackerRank or CoderPad.
ClapAssist gives every account 10 free interview minutes, once, with no card. Try it on a practice call first.
